FIREFLY® VapourSafe® Membrane is specifically designed with modular and offsite construction in mind. Its lightweight, durable composition makes it easy to handle in factory conditions, while its Class A2-s1, d0 fire classification ensures compliance is built in to every panel before arriving onsite. Typical applications include:
- Modular and offsite construction – pre-fabricated wall and façade panels where consistent fire safety and weather proofing must be assured during manufacture, transport, and installation.
- Rainscreen and ventilated façade systems – providing a vapour-permeable, weather resistant layer behind cladding systems.
- High-rise and high-risk buildings, residential, commercial, healthcare and education projects where non-combustible materials are essential above 18m.
- Refurbishment and remedial works – upgrading the fire performance of existing façades without compromising breathability.
CONSTRUCTION
VapourSafe® Membrane is a strong, breathable coated woven glass substrate, suitable for jointing with foil tape.
