CPVC Protector

FIREFLY® CPVC Protector is a lightweight, coated woven glass fire barrier of limited combustibility. It is designed to be wrapped around CPVC pipes as part of a penetration seal.

APPLICATION
CPVC pipes are subject to corrosion from plasticisers used in the production of intumescent graphite compounds. CPVC Protector is fixed around the pipe as a 100 mm wide strip, forming an impervious barrier in the penetration seal.

CPVC Protector should be applied with an overlap of 50% of the pipe diameter, and this overlap shall be sealed with a foil tape.
