Phoenix
FIREFLY® Phoenix is a lightweight flexible fire rated smoke and flame barrier designed to provide compartmentation within a building, offering up to 120 minutes integrity only, when tested to BS476 Parts 20 & 22. FIREFLY® Phoenix is designed to work as part of a fire protection system and does not provide insulation properties.
USE AREAS
Commonly used in larger roof voids within industrial, warehousing, food processing and data centres to create smoke and flame compartmentation barriers at 20 metre intervals.
CONSTRUCTION
FIREFLY® Phoenix is manufactured using woven glass fibre, specially treated with a proprietary coating to greatly increase fire resistance.

FIREFLY® returned to site several times to carry out inspections. The barrier offers up to 120 minutes integrity from either side and could remain in place once the new area is complete. The project went very smoothly, and we have moved on now to other sites where we are again using FIREFLY® products.
